Short description

The school is designed as a building composed of: basement, high ground floor and the first floor with gymnastics hall. The designed area of the school is intended for the following purposes: teaching, sport and recreational, cultural and leisure as well as for accommodation of administrative and other pertaining facilities, fully in compliance with regulations applicable to this type of buildings.
Surface area - 6.171 m2.
Contents - The school consists of 16 basic classroom areas and 3 ancillary classrooms with pertaining entrance premises, specialized classrooms for different courses, administrative block, physical education block, stomatology block with pertaining contents and central hall with corridors. The main entrance of the school is situated in the northern wing of the building, facing the main street. The ground floor accommodates an entrance control unit, administrative services, professors’ premises, library, etc. The stomatology service with all pertaining facilities is situated in the basement, with 8 classrooms on the first floor. In the basement of the southern wing, there is a general medicine practice with sanitary facilities, a specialized pharmaceutical-chemistry classroom with sanitary facilities, with microbiology and biochemistry classrooms. The ground floor accommodates specialized classroom units for biology, chemistry, physics and anatomy, with classrooms on the first floor. There is a gymnastics hall with pertaining premises in the southern block, as well (including teacher’s premises, physician’s room, dressing room, while the fitness room with a gym and sanitary facilities occupies the upper area beneath the spectator stand). Amphitheatres are located along the central hall. All contents of the school are located horizontally in two wings (northern and southern) on three levels and connected to the central hall. In addition to the main pedestrian access, there are also two vehicle access roads with parking places.
Equipment - the facility is equipped with new furniture, the latest video surveillance system, cable system for telephony and computer networking, control of access to special-purpose premises, fire protection system, uninterruptible power supply – generating sets and stabilized voltage supply for computer and electronic equipment, with sanitary units and ramps for people with special needs. Gymnastic hall also has new furniture and ad requisite recreational equipment.
